Wexford County Enterprise Board is now offering assistance with eBusiness Development with a small grant towards the high cost of developing this side of business.
The board is now offering up to €1,000 or 50% of the costs towards developing an eBusiness website.

This scheme will make provision for financial assistance up to €1,000 or 50% of the overall cost for the design and development of web sites by qualifying companies. The above limit will apply to each grantee on an annual basis (i.e. no applicant may receive more than €1,000 in any one year).
Standard/ Minimum Conditions
1. The E-Business/ E-Commerce Support Scheme will be confined to qualifying micro-enterprises (employing at least one person on a full-time basis and not more than 10 employees). Please note: Professional services and retails businesses are excluded from this scheme. Brochure-ware only websites shall also be excluded from the scheme.
2. Financial support shall not be provided retrospectively and expenditure incurred prior to date of approval is ineligible for grant aid purposes.
3. The applicant will expend an amount net of VAT on design and development of an approved Website as detailed in the Letter of Offer. All applications must be accompanied by a written quotation from persons/companies tendering for the design and development of the website. Only third party costs are eligible under this scheme.
4. The grant offer is conditional on the applicant being willing to give their tax number and complying with Revemue in reagrd to their tax affairs.
5. Payment of the grant will be made on the basis of vouched expenditure, duly receipted, when all approved works are completed and the Website is online and fully operational.
6. All claims for payment must be accompanied by the enclosed acceptance/ declaration and original invoices and proof of payment.
7. Fees for domain registration, hosting or on-going maintenance are not covered by this scheme.
8. The grantee shall acknowledge funding by the Wexford CEB and provide a link to www.wexfordceb.ie on the links section of the website.
